Wraptor Supercharger Oil

Premium specialist lubricant formulated for supercharger gear drives and bearings. Supercharger oil operates under high rotational speeds and temperatures, helping to reduce friction, wear, vibration and unwanted mechanical noise.

Unlike engine oil, the supercharger has its own separate oil supply. Over time, repeated heat cycles can cause this oil to deteriorate, lose effectiveness or become contaminated.

Why change it while the supercharger is removed?

We strongly recommend replacing the supercharger oil whenever the unit is removed for maintenance, repairs or coolant-pipe upgrades.

The supercharger often needs to be removed to access components such as the Y-pipe, rear crossover pipe and other cooling-system parts. Changing the oil during this work is far more cost-effective because the necessary access has already been created.

Refilling with fresh oil at this stage helps avoid duplicating labour later and gives the supercharger the best protection when it is refitted.

For the greatest preventative benefit, we recommend combining an oil change with inspection and maintenance of the coupler, shaft and bearings where applicable.

Please note: Supercharger oil only protects the components supplied by the supercharger’s oil chamber. It does not replace the need to inspect or maintain the coupler, shaft, pulley and other bearings.
