Magnetic Sump Plug

Stop wear at the source. Our high-strength magnetic sump plug traps microscopic ferrous particles before they circulate through your oil system, helping protect bearings, journals and the oil pump on every heat cycle.

Why it matters
Tiny metal fragments are a normal by-product of engine operation, especially on high-performance or high-mileage builds. Capturing them in the sump instead of your filter means cleaner oil for longer and an extra early-warning indicator during services.

Installation

1. Warm the engine, drain the oil and remove the OE plug.

2. Clean the sealing face, install the magnetic plug with the supplied washer.

3. Tighten to the torque specified in your workshop manual.

4. Refill with oil, run, and check for leaks.

Service tip

During each oil change, inspect and clean the magnet. A light dusting is normal. Excessive flakes or chips may indicate component wear that deserves investigation.
